Floating gardens of Inle Lake in Myanmar. ❤️ The locals here build “floating gardens” on the lake using a mixture of sea grass and mud that is attached to bamboo sticks driven into the lake bed. It’s fascinating seeing how the locals live almost completely on water here. We got to visit a local house on the lake for lunch and enjoyed a tranquil afternoon listening to the water just underneath the house. ?
