I had the coolest opportunity yesterday. Me and some travel buddies took a detour to the tiny town of Zinacantán, near San Cristobal ??. When you arrive in the town, locals greet you with offers to see their homes and how they make handicrafts. The woman we went with offered to let me try on their traditional Mayan wedding dress!! When I said I needed a boyfriend first, she offered to call some guys in town!! ?? What beautiful hand made work. We didn’t end up buying any of her handicrafts but you can leave a nice tip for the awesome experience. .
