The people of Inle Lake in Myanmar spend most of their lives on the lake. I enjoyed the brightly colored houses, although it doesn’t seem like the “traditional” way! ❤️ Houses typically contain a kitchen/eating area, a praying area, and a communal sleeping area. Since it’s so hot during the day, the shade and a breeze blowing through the house are really important to keep cool. Some families have water tanks but you’ll see many families washing their babies and dishes in the lake ?
